Three new priests to be ordained

On Monday 18 October, Deacons Aldrin Valdehueza, Roger Delmonte and Sam French will be ordained as priests by Bishop Anthony Randazzo.

The celebratory Mass will take place at 11.30am at Our Lady of the Rosary Cathedral, Waitara. The Mass will be livestreamed for all the community of Broken Bay to participate online. 

The three men have been in preparations for priesthood in Broken Bay for a long time now and were hoping for a big celebration with family, friends and the Broken Bay community. In October 2020, they were ordained as Deacons in the Diocese of Broken Bay, and have been in the final preparations for priesthood for the last 12 months.

The good news is that everyone across the world will be able to participate in the Mass via the livestream from the Cathedral, which is wonderful for both Deacon Aldrin and Deacon Roger, whose families are overseas and unable to attend the event in person.
