Interested in becoming a Catholic or just wanting to learn more about what Catholics believe and do?
The Catholic Church is a place of welcome and family where everybody belongs. Its mission is to offer people of all ages, walks and backgrounds the opportunity to encounter Jesus Christ in an authentically joyful and life-changing way.
Those who are interested in becoming a Catholic usually have diverse stories and reasons for doing so and as a Catholic Church community, we want to make this process as smooth and welcoming as possible.
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the process where adult individuals who have made the decision to become members of the Catholic Church can begin a journey of spiritual conversation and initiation. This journey is always travelled in the community and where the individual always feels supported and accompanied. The RCIA journey culminates in the Sacrament of Baptism which is usually received by an adult during the Easter Vigil.
