You are here:HomeNewsLatest News At the end of this month, members of the XVI General Ordinary Assembly of the Synod of Bishops will gather in Rome for the first session of the assembly. Everyone, all baptised people, regardless of whether they will be in Rome, are asked to participate in October’s assembly of the Synod of Bishops with their prayers. The Synod is first and foremost an event of prayer and listening that does not solely involve the members of the synodal assembly, but every baptised person, every particular Church. A number of resources are available for use in liturgies or for group or personal prayer. Resources include: Journeying together -Synod 2023 – General Intercessions Synod Prayer A5 Synod Prayer A4 Prayers in the Spirit of Mary MacKillop Lectio Divina – Prayer Experience Together 2023 Prayer Meetings A local Diocesan Together 2023 Prayer Vigil will be held on Friday 29 September, and all are invited to join the Hornsby Cathedral Parish at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 18 Stuart Avenue, Normanhurst.
