CatholicCare fundraiser for Women's Refuge

CatholicCare Diocese of Broken Bay is partnering with Bespoke & Beautiful Interiors to undertake a much needed renovation of Erin’s Place, a refuge in Northern Sydney for women and children escaping domestic and family violence.

CatholicCare’s Domestic Violence Response Enhancement (DVRE) team provide crisis support for women and children who are experiencing domestic violence. Many of these women are referred to their Specialist Homelessness Services (SHS) for transitional accommodation at the refuge. Specialist caseworkers then work closely with the women to ensure their safety and navigate the legal, logistical and emotional hurdles associated with leaving a violent relationship.
