Working with Children
The Parish and the Diocese of Broken Bay strive to provide a safe environment for children, young people and vulnerable adults in its care and we are committed to maintaining a pastoral community that models the essential qualities of ethical and moral behaviour. The principles upon which this behaviour is based include; integrity, commitment, presence, servant leadership, truth, compassion, wisdom and dignity.

Working With Children Check
A Working With Children Check is a requirement for any person who works or volunteers in child-related work within the parish. The check involves a national criminal history check and a review of findings of workplace misconduct.
The result of a Working With Children Check is either a clearance to work with children for five years, or a bar against working with children. Cleared applicants are subject to ongoing monitoring and relevant new information may lead to a clearance being revoked.
The Working With Children Check is portable so it can be used for any paid or unpaid child-related work in NSW for as long as the person remains cleared.
Please contact the parish office if you are to take up a child-related role within the parish.
