Easter Events in the Pymble Parish
Easter is a time that is set apart in the liturgical year for our spiritual renewal. During Easter, we centre our attention on the Sacred Paschal Triduum (Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Holy Saturday).
The Sacred Paschal Triduum is the central liturgical celebration of the Catholic Church. The three liturgies of Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and the Easter Vigil together are one continuous liturgy that commemorates the passion, death, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Holy Week and Easter celebrations are the most important celebrations in the liturgical calendar. During this period we celebrate the proclamation of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
