Salvatorians Meet in Perth WA

In the last week of November 2024, the Australian Salvatorian community gathered together in Currambine WA for personal development and reflection at the Salvatorian Spirituality Centre. The group had an opportunity to learn more about how to be Synodal Church and how to implement synodality concepts in the parishes.

Their guest speaker was Mrs Kelly Paget who recently attended the 16th General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops in Rome. Kelly is an active member of the Gosford Parish in the Broken Bay Diocese. She is also the Chancellor and head of the Broken Bay Mission office. Kelly shared her experiences at the Assembly and helped the group understand more why Synodality should be an important part of parish life.

The Salvatorians are very proud of Kelly as she was shaped by the Salvatorian charism to be a woman who plays an important role in the Church. She identifies as Salvatorian and has said that our charism to proclaim Christ by all ways and means is an essential part of her life.

Below are selected photographs from the assembly in Perth. The photographs show the meeting activity at the Currambine venue.
