Kate's Place Renovation
Please help by placing your vote for Kate's Place
Kate’s Place in Waitara encourages children living with disability and their families to come together to play, learn and meet new people.
The doors of Kate's Place are open to a diverse range of community and not-for-profit organisations but the space is in desperate need of refurbishment. It needs urgent repairs and Kate's Place does not have the funding to undertake this work. For Kate’s Place to continue to reach more people within our community, Catholic Care have applied for a grant with the Service NSW My Community Project. Kate's Place is seeking funding for improvements to be made to the building and the playground so that Kate’s Place can be more functional and an exciting place for families and children.
Kate's Place needs the local community to vote for this project within the My Community Project structure. Funding is determined using a public voting process. Please help and encourage your neighbours and local businesses and schools to support us as well.
The NSW My Community Project funds projects in each NSW electorate to help improve the wellbeing of people and communities. Successful projects are determined through a public vote and the projects that receive the most support will receive funding. Up to $260,000 is available for each NSW electorate. My Community Project is supported by the NSW Generations Fund.
