Children's Liturgy

Join us in helping our children in their faith journey

If you are willing or interested in joining the Children's liturgy ministry, we would like to hear from you. All you need is passion in sharing your faith with our children. No previous experience is needed and all materials and support will be provided to you. A "working with children check" for volunteers is also required (free of charge).

Children's liturgy occurs on the first and third Sunday at the 9:30am Sunday mass at Sacred Heart Pymble and every Sunday at the 9am mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Succour West Pymble. Children are taken aside during mass for approximately 20 minutes to learn more about the Gospel of the day. Children of all ages are welcome.

Sacred Heart Pymble is also seeking a ministry coordinator. The coordinator will be responsible for creating and distributing the roster, outlining the liturgy sessions and be the first point of contact for volunteers and parents. If this sounds like something you would like to do, please contact the parish office.

Note, you can also volunteer once a term or once every other term and, depending on the number of volunteers received, you can be placed on a back up list to provide support when a volunteer can't attend.
