New Pymble clergy assignments
We all know it had to happen. But, when the time comes, it is a sad event. At the same time, it is an occasion for new adventures and experiences.
Our Parish priest Fr Boguslaw is scheduled to complete his assignment in Pymble and his last Mass with the Parish will be at 9:30am on Sunday, 13 March at Sacred Heart. Fr Boguslaw will be returning to his homeland in Poland, initially to his hometown of Mikolow. Mikolow is about 3.5 hours south-east of Warsaw.
Fr Christopher is also scheduled to complete his assignment in Pymble and his last Mass with the Parish will be at 9:30am on Sunday, 27 March at Sacred Heart. Fr Christopher will be taking up an assignment in the Diocese of Port Pirie in South Australia.
The Parish will have a Farewell Morning Tea after each farewell Mass. Everyone is welcome to attend this last opportunity to thank Fr Boguslaw and Fr Christopher for their selfless attention to the needs of the Parish during their time with us.
We are sad to see them move on to new assignments. But at the same time, we wish them every success in their new environments.
Fr Ireneusz (Irek) Czech has taken up the assignment as our Parish Priest commencing on Monday, 14 March. His first Mass with the Parish will be at 9:30am on Sunday, 20 March at Sacred Heart. After the Mass, the Parish will have a Welcome Morning Tea. Everyone is welcome to attend and participate in introducing Fr Irek to the Pymble Parish. A native of Poland, Fr Irek comes to us from the Archdiocese of Melbourne. We wish him every blessing in his new role with Pymble.
