What does a Synodal Church look like?
In an extract from the September 2024 edition of Broken Bay News at the link below, Bishop Anthony Randazzo responds to the question: What does a Synodal Church look like?
A Synodal Church, a community faithful to scripture and tradition that listens, participates, discerns, includes, and serves together. It is a Church that is transparent, mission-oriented, and united in its diversity. Together, we embrace these characteristics, allowing them to shape our life and mission as the Body of Christ. May the Holy Spirit guide us in our efforts to be a truly Synodal Church, together in faith, hope, and charity.
