Thursday, 30 May
Sacred Heart Church
2 Richard Porter Way Pymble
Serrans are Catholic lay women and men who respond to the call to promote and support vocations to the priesthood and consecrated life in the Catholic Church.
Fr Stephen Wayoyi, Assistant Parish Priest of St Agatha's Parish Pennant Hills will be celebrating mass for Serra at Sacred Heart Pymble. The evening will commence with mass at 6:30pm followed by dinner consisting of sandwiches, sausage rolls and fruit. We expect that the evening will be concluded by 9pm.
Following dinner, Fr Stephen will be our guest speaker. He will be discussing the vocation activities of the Diocese and will provide an update on our nine seminarians now studying at the Good Shepherd Seminary. Our Diocesan Vocations Officer, Michelle Chahine, will also be attending.
At the conclusion of Father Stephen's presentation, Terry Scanlan will be speaking about the history, activities/future activities and the objectives of Serra in Broken Bay.
If you would like to know more about vocation activities in the Diocese and how you may be able to play a part in supporting our existing vocations and encouraging new vocations please join us on Thursday, 30 May.
Everyone is welcome. Please "come and see".
Please remember to pray every day for vocations to the priesthood, diaconate, the consecrated life, ecclesial women, all seminarians and novices, and for the perseverance of existing vocations.
For further information or to attend, please contact Terry Scanlan on 0438 887 295 or via the parish office.
