Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults
Welcoming people into the Catholic church — are you interested in learning about the Catholic faith or becoming Catholic?
Every year hundreds of people decide to become Catholic, and each one has their own special story. Each is drawn to the Church by different experiences and circumstances. St Augustine, a great Saint of the Church, said, "Our hearts are restless, O Lord, until they rest in you".
We invite you to join in with the Pymble Parish RCIA program for this year. The program is an opportunity for everyone, Catholic and non-Catholic, to understand the Catholic faith in the 21st Century.
Have you ever wondered about the value of being a practising Catholic in today’s Church?
In previous years, almost everyone who has attended these sessions has thoroughly enjoyed the interactive experience and the discussion between members. These sessions, run for about 60 to 90 minutes each week, finishing with tea or coffee and an open discussion. At each session, you will be given all the notes you need.
There are about 25 sessions in all and we expect to start in mid-September. We take breaks during Christmas and school holidays. The program is scheduled to be completed before Easter 2025.
If you or someone you know would like to know more, please contact the Parish office by telephone or email at the contact points below.
We will respond with dates, agenda and possible session times. Alternatively, please complete the form at the link below and return it to the office by email.
