Parish Collections
The 1st Collection is used for the support of the Bishop and priests of the Diocese.
The 2nd Collection is used to meet Parish running costs, maintenance of Church, Presbytery, offices, other buildings and grounds. It is also used to pay for all our Ministries' expenses and staff salaries and superannuation.
Contributions via Direct Debit or Credit Card
To set up a regular contribution to our Second Collection Planned Giving via Direct Debit or Credit Card, select from the options below, and return your completed form to the Parish Office.

This secure system, provided by CBA, will give you the option of having your receipt emailed to you.
On the BPoint page, please select an option from the drop-down menu. For example:
- "Planned Giving" for donations to Parish 2nd Collection
- "Pastoral Revenue" for donations to the Parish 1st Collection
- "PWBB" for Pastoral Works Broken Bay donations (previously known as Charitable Works Fund)

Pastoral Works Broken Bay Appeal - Previously Charitable Works Fund (CWF)
The Pastoral Works Broken Bay is a 100% tax deductible appeal that supports five charities which make a difference to the lives of children and families in our Diocese. The Pastoral Works Broken Bay (PWBB) is a Diocesan-wide Appeal that runs three times a year to raise funds for charities in the Diocese. The PWBB donates the funds across five groups that directly support people in our Diocese.
- Hospital Chaplaincy - Designated Priests and lay Pastoral Care practitioners travel to seven hospitals in the Diocese to provide a listening ear, guidance, ritual, prayer and sacraments when required. This program exists to support people often in their most vulnerable times. Your generous donations fund this important ministry.
- Confraternity for Christian Doctrine (CCD) - Over 1,000 volunteers received specialised training to serve over 21,000 Catholic students in public schools in the Diocese. CCD staff work tirelessly in providing quality Catholic education in both primary and high schools. Without your support thousands of students will not receive Catholic education.
- St Lucy’s School - St Lucy’s School is a K- 6 Primary School to approximately 140 students with disabilities. Students at St Lucy’s receive education with Catholic values along with the knowledge, attitudes and skills to flourish and participate fully in society.
- St Edmund’School - St Edmund’s is a 7 -12 high school for students with a wide range of disabilities including sensory impairment, intellectual disability and autism. St Edmunds creates a holistic learning environment incorporating academics and personal wellbeing through co-curricular activities.
- The Ephpheta Centre - Ephpheta means “Be Open” and the Ephpheta Centre provides pastoral care, sacramental services, support and advocacy for all people who are deaf or hard of hearing. The chaplaincy team visits people confined to their homes, nursing homes, hospitals and those in prison, as well as friendship community gatherings catering to people across Sydney and the Central Coast.
Donations to PWBB over $2 are 100% tax deductible.

- Project Compassion Appeal during Lent to Caritas (the Catholic agency for overseas aid and development)
- On Good Friday, there is a special collection of the Holy Places
- Peter's Pence
- Annual Appeal for the Missions
