Care for the Sick
In case of emergency, or just as a regular visit, our Priests (or Deacon) can come to the home to administer Anointing of the Sick, hear Confession, and give Communion.
If in hospital and wanting Communion, please ask the nurse to arrange a visit from the Catholic Chaplain. If needing Anointing, ask the nurse to arrange a Catholic Priest to come.
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion and the Visitation Team are also available to visit those who are sick, housebound, and unable to get to Mass.
Visitations are undertaken because people suffer in many ways, such as loneliness, depression, blindness, frailty and failing health.
If you or a loved one would appreciate a visit or would like to receive Holy Communion please ring the parish office with your details.
