The Passionist Family Group Movement
A Family For All - Family Groups provide just that, a family for all who wish to belong, whether they are young or old, church going or not, married, single, separated or divorced. There is an acceptance of everyone. All are Welcome to Join.
Family Groups aim to: encourage people to get to know each other, support each other through good times and bad, sharing each other’s joys and sorrows, give good example and involve children in Christian sharing, live and love as early Christians did, … so building Christian community and promoting a community spirit in the congregation.
A Family Group is made up of 10-15 families including all ages, just like an extended family. Many non-church goers have found Family Groups a great way to be involved with their family and other caring people without feeling threatened. Activities are varied and organised by the members of the group… picnics, BBQ’s, weekends away, and other special celebrations like birthdays and anniversaries.
Our Family Groups host the Parish Morning Tea after 9:30am Mass on the 2nd Sunday of each month. Each Group takes a turn on a roster basis. Join us for a lovely hot cuppa and a chat! ALL WELCOME!
Men's Social Group
Starting as a Men's Group but now expanding to include wives and friends, the Group meets on the third Wednesday of the month 12 noon, at one of our local venues.
All are welcome to join them for lunch and a yarn. For details of venue and date confirmation please refer to bulletin or call the parish office.
KidsClub
KidsClub is a Parish social group for 5-12 year olds (and their siblings) who want to make new friends, have fun, and learn more about Jesus! Games, snacks and activities provided.
We usually meet on the third Saturday of the month from 3-4:45pm in the Reynolds Room (at the northern end of the carpark). Parents are welcome to stay or you can drop off and pick up (parents must stay for children under 5 yrs). Entry is free!
Our group leaders have WWCC. We encourage all to join us at 5pm Mass after KidsClub. No RSVP required, just turn up! Call the Parish Office on 4332 2216 for more information. We can't wait to meet you!
