Primary
We have six primary state schools in our parish and teach each class (Kinder to Year Six) for half an hour each week during the school term. Our aim is to have one teacher (catechist) and one helper in each class. The catechists work together to cover for anyone who cannot teach their class in any particular week.
Training and support is provided. We have a dedicated catechists resource room and the use of a photocopier and the support of the parish.
Each year we have combined ecumenical Easter and Christmas assemblies with one of the denominations leading the assembly.
Contact Cheryl Ryan through the Parish Office.
Secondary
We have two state high schools in the parish and present one-hour seminars to Years 7 to 10 during the school term. We have a roster with three or four catechists teaching each seminar. Training and support is provided.
More catechists are always welcome.

Our parish primary school is for boys and girls from Kindergarten to Year Six. It is staffed by a dedicated team of teachers who aim to work in partnership with eh Parish Priest and the parish to nurture and educate the children of the parish. Religion is taught in special classes but Gospel values influence the whole curriculum. We offer a board range of opportunities for each child including religious education, academic subjects, sporting and cultural activities and personal developmental programs.
The parish is responsible for the sacramental programs and parents are integral part of the education program. Parish, school and parents work in partnership for the education of our children.
